I figured it was best in the early going to kick-double pole as much as possible and save my double-pole energies for later - particularly since most of the other racers seemed to be double-poling exclusively.

After a break of two weeks, the Viessmann FIS Cross-Country World Cup will continue in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, in Canmore. On 5th and 6th February, the athletes will compete in two World Cup races (per gender) in the Canmore Nordic Center.
