U.S. Nordic Combined Team grabs Silver Medal

The U.S. won its first ever medal in the nordic combined team event, taking silver after losing a close final-lap battle between Billy Demong (Vermontville, NY) and Austria's Mario Stecher for the gold on Tuesday.

30km awards ceremony, 10k races

Today the 10K races at the World Masters Cup in Falun were delayed an hour due to a temperature at the track of -25C, or -13F. At least it was sunny with no wind. The snow was still cold and rather slow, though not as bad as yesterday.

Burke 18th in men’s 15k mass start
