Competition was very tactical from first kilometers. Big group of skiers was formed. for the first time in the Olympic Games changing of skis was allowed. In total three pit stops were possible.

Conditions were really tough today. 4 inches of new snow made for softer track conditions. The temperature was about 28 F at my start and climbed to about 34 F by the end. No wind but snow squalls during the race made for extra challenging conditions.
