The U.S. Ski Team's Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) finished 14th in the women's 10k freestyle pursuit World Cup in Falun. Sunday's result earned Randall another career milestone placing 10th in the World Cup overall standings.
Freeman 19th in Falun on challenging wax day

Kris Freeman (Andover, NH) led the U.S. Ski Team in 19th in what he called "a very challenging wax day" in a men’s 20k mixed technique pursuit World Cup Saturday in Falun.

U.S. Ski Team standout Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) led the USA in 19th Friday in the World Cup Finals opening prologue event in Falun. Norway's Marit Bjoergen and Russia's Ilia Chernousov won the first stage of the final 2011 season tour.
Michigan Cup race in October 2011?

Eli Brown has proposed a Michigan Cup race in October using Zamboni snow to make a short 15-20 second course in Traverse City. Eli wants to get a confirmation early so he could use that in promoting the event to sponsors, nationally, etc.

U.S. skier Andy Newell (Shaftsbury, VT) led the American squad taking a strong fifth in the final World Cup sprint of the season Wednesday in Stockholm. Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) finished third in the World Cup sprint standings.
