Former Michigan Cup racer and current member of the Bridger Ski Foundation Pro Team Reid Goble has had a great couple weeks. First, he won the Minneapolis SuperTour race. Then he won a gold medal serving as a guide in the Paralympics. Finally, he's been chosen to race in the Men's 10km interval start classic race (3/20) at the FIS World Cup Finals in Lake Placid NY. Way to go Reid!
Seventeen coed teams, 17 male teams and 3 all-women teams competed in the 2013 Six Hour Team Relay at Hanson Hills Recreation Area.
It's down to just one stage, the final climb up Alpe Cermis, with Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) of the U.S. Ski Team standing seventh behind runaway leader Justyna Kowalczyk.
Toblach, Italy, FIS Tour de Ski, Stage 5 Women's 3.3km Individual, Kikkan Randall (USA) finishes the day in 7th place, and is 7th in the Tour as well, 34.9 seconds off the podium with two stages left.

APU Nordic had a strong day at the U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships with Erik Bjornsen and Rosie Brennan taking their first U.S. titles in the 15k Freestyle and 10k Freestyle.
American Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) moved up one spot to seventh and remained in close striking distance to fourth as the Tour heads into its final two days in Val di Fiemme.
Poland's Justyna Kowalczyk remained in the Tour de Ski lead with a comfortable win in the 15k freestyle pursuit, but the field closed the gap with Sweden's Charlotte Kalla 23.3 back and Therese Haug of Norway 28.7 back.
Mt. Borah is excited to announce its alliance with Madshus and Toko as they launch the Madshus / Mt. Borah race team. The three companies will combine their specialties to support an elite group of athlete-ambassadors for the upcoming season.
The region will look to continue some of the momentum they gained in the NCAA championships last year when the CCSA finally regained a place atop the podium as Northern Michigan’s Erik Soderman captured the national championship in the men’s 10k skate.

Torin Koos (Wenatchee, WA) of Northern Bridger Ski Foundation and Jennie Bender (Johnson, VT) of CXC Elite took classic sprint titles on opening day of the U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships on the Olympic trails at Soldier Hollow.
