Michigan Cup Committee Meeting

Hanson Hills Recreation Area, 7601 Old Mill Lake Road, Grayling, MI

What:

This year's Michigan Cup Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 20 at the Pavilion at Hanson Hills at 11 PM. Each Michigan Cup team gets one vote. The meeting is open to anyone who wants to attend.

A tentative race schedule will be discussed. New this year: the Black Mountain Classic has moved to Jan 30 and the Boyne Mtn Classic/Beech have moved to Jan 31.   Nubs Nob and Black Mtn have agreed to back each other up in case of low snow. This also allows the Michigan Cup relays to move up a week to March 6.

Discussion Items

1. Several comments have been received about splitting the 60-69 age group into two age groups 60-64 and 65-69 based on the large number of participants.
2. Review 70 and over dual race distances.
3. Review Junior race schedule as it pertains to the Michigan Cup.
