37 teams complete in 6-hour team relay

Seventeen coed teams, 17 male teams and 3 all-women teams competed in the 2013 Six Hour Team Relay at Hanson Hills Recreation Area on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
The all-male team "Birkie Fever" (Vasa Ski Club members Tim Jenema, Scott Howard, and Eli Brown) completed 23 laps, the greatest number of laps of any of the teams. Not far behind, the top coed team, "Reflex" (Straits Striders Chris Wiengartz, Tracy Hardin and Andy Liebner finished 22 laps).
The top women's team was "Here for the fun" with Ann Wagar, Hillary Witbodt, and Sarah Web of Hanson Hills/Cross Country Ski Shop, completing 16 laps.
