Rain turned to heavy, damp snow Thursday night before the 2023 North American Vasa, providing far better snow conditions that anyone expected! As it was, the normal race courses were abandoned because of low snow volumes leading up to the race.

The fourth Michigan Cup race went off without a hitch! The Larry Kanaby Memorial Classic race at Forbush Corner took advantage of both man-made and natural snow. Seniors skied 12km, juniors went 8km.
