It was a close race all the way to the end for the Senior Men. Milan Baic and John O'Hearn (both Vasa Ski Club) finished with the same number of points.
On Day 3, athletes competed in a 1.3km Skate sprint. Originally, the sprint was set to be Classic, but 60+ degree temperatures and persistent rain made it impossible to set a track. The course was slushy and wet, but, in the end, it was still a great day

The big story: UM Ladies are in 3rd place after day one in Lake Placid! The race was a 15km mass-start classic, and the warm, wet conditions made for an interesting event.
