Marcialonga: Entries closed three months before race day

After unusually high numbers of entries flowing in since September, exactly three months before the scheduled race date (31st January), the entries were closed for the 2010 Marcialonga on 30th October.

Kevin Patzoldt of Grand Rapids, MN has been named as the 5th man for the US December World Cup team, to compete in World Cups 1-3 in December of 2009. This selection was difficult to make because of the depth of the field competing for the final spot.
