Randall was 16th fastest in the finale pursuit to finish strongly among the powerhouse athletes of the sport in the three-day event, also keeping her in sixth place in the FIS Cross Country World Cup standings after four races.

The U.S. Ski Team's Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) skied to second in her leg, recording one of the fastest times of the day, as the USA finished ninth in the 4x5k mixed technique relay in Sjusjoen.
Randall, who was third in the season-long World Cup sprint standings last year, was eighth in the opening 10k freestyle technique race. Liz Stephen matched her career best in 18th.

The National Nordic Foundation’s Drive for 25 was a huge success, with over 750 Nordic enthusiasts pledging their support for America’s future Cross-Country and Nordic Combined stars on November 15th. Over $35,000 was committed to the program.
While many ski races in Scandinavia were being canceled due to lack of snow, the 3rd Annual SkiErg World Sprints took place last weekend in locations around the world and drew a record number of participants.
The event will feature men’s & women’s 17 km Freestyle, which is a Michigan Cup points race. There is also a 7.5 km Classic race open to everyone, and a kids race.
