The USA's Liz Stephen and Kikkan Randall finish 3rd and 6th overall at the the Lysebotn opp, a 7.5km long roller skiing competition from Lysebotn and up the winding roads to Øygardstøl ("The Eagles Nest"), with the finish line 640 meters above sea level.
We have an incredibly strong team as it is, but if you look at our top incoming skiers, they all have skied in high school like many of our current varsity team, and we have a good varsity team. Our women continue to develop into a more competitive team.

Steve Teclaw becomes head coach of the men's and women's Nordic skiing teams after four seasons as an assistant with the school. In addition, former Northern Michigan standout Tim Cook has been hired as the program's associate head coach.
