LATEST TRAIL CONDITIONS

TUE, DEC 18

Huron Meadows Metropark: Skate and classic in good condition. Just a little dirt.
Nice work everybody.
Thanks!!!

Huron Meadows Metropark: Conditions are very nice. Fast conditions and sugary (is that a word?). Hardly any ground showing through. Classic tracks are in decent condition. Enjoy!

Boyne Highlands: Sorry folks. Lots of snow cover, but no recent grooming. Unskiable conditions as of Tues. 2:00.
Back to jogging/ski bounding until fresh snow.
Hap Wright

Nubs Nob: The Best Snow in the lower peninsula!!!! But.....NO NEW Grooming. Too bad because just a pass with the snow machine and a drag would have made the trails spectacular. As it went today it was just a step above boiler plate. Tomorrow's predicted warming may soften the snow up a little bit so it could be good until it gets mushy so you will have to time your skiing just right. The classic track is rock hard with a few leaves in spots. There is enough snow that I could have used my good skis today.

Lakes of the North: Skated on boilerplate, good coverage, choppy. Beggars can't be choosers.

Valley Spur: Temps yesterday stayed right around freezing so the trails remain in really good shape. We did get some high winds Sunday night into Monday that left some debris on the trails, twigs, leaves some pine needles so watch for that. Groomed the two Heavens yesterday morning so with light traffic everything is good to go for today.
