All waxed up and nowhere to go

I was disappointed the two Boyne Highlands races were canceled. I totally understand the decision (it was the right decision), but I was looking forward to using the results to move up in the Michigan standings. after the late start to my season, I've been getting stronger every race, and I figured I'd do very well at Boyne.

I spent Thursday evening waxing up skis for the weekend, and Friday morning before work I ironed a layer of pure fluro. They were ready to fly!

Oh well, I just glad I managed to get in at least 5 races Let's hope the relays go next weekend.

Wiht the races canceled, I went home, had dinner with Jill, and finished off "Open: An Autobiography" by Andre Agassi (good read!).

Hill technique

Crust skied on a local golf course at dawn. Skated repeats up a short, steep pitch to work on my climbing technique, then skied back and forth up, down and across a little valley to get a little distance in.
