A full schedule of medal events will be streamed live to the USA from the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships starting in Falun Feb. 18-March 1, opening with classic sprints for men and women on Thursday.

After the US qualified four skiers for the sprint rounds, Simi Hamilton led the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team at the Ostersund World Cup Classic Sprint event, finishing 11th.

Both Alex Vanias and Kaitlyn Patterson added to their Michigan Cup victories today by winning the 50K Vasa. Milan Baic and Eric O'Hearn took the top spots in the 27K.
The Michigan High School Championships Pursuit race was held on the Michigan Tech Trails in Houghton Michigan on Friday, February 13. It was not an unlucky day for Mitch Delong and Sarah Goble, however. Both topped the pursuit podium.
Our current plan is to run all events as scheduled on Saturday. That will change only if conditions deteriorate beyond what is forecasted. The start of the Sunday's races could be delayed...or cancelled.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced the addition of Ben Saxton (Lakeville, MN) to the Falun World Championships roster. Saxton will join the 16 skiers already named on January 26.
