Nordic Combined Ready for Kuusamo

One year after they each landed on the podium at Kuusamo, Billy Demong and Johnny Spillane have returned, along with the rest of the U.S. Nordic Combined Ski Team, to kick off the World Cup season Saturday.

The Norwegian nordic sprinters have their own web site with a Top Gun-style theme called "Top Ski." Everything on the site is in the Norwegian language, but there are some great photos and video.

Kris had a great start to the season skiing with the winner for the middle 10 km of the race. It generally takes a while to really get into the flow over here. 45seconds back is a good race for the second week in Europe.
