USSA names World Junior Nordic Combined Team

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association has named ten men and three women to the World Junior Championship Team to compete in nordic combined and ski jumping following final trials last week in Lake Placid.

It was history in the making in Italy Sunday as World Champions Billy Demong and Todd Lodwick took first and second, marking the first time two U.S. athletes have made the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup podium together.

USBA nominates Olympians

The International Competition Committee of the U.S. Biathlon Association conducted a final review of results from the IBU Cup races in Altenberg, Germany. The US Biathlon Assoication will forward these athletes names to the US Olympic Committe.
