Two in a row for DeWitt and Fjeldheim

Laura DeWitt was named the CCSA Female Athlete of the Year while Sten Fjeldheim and Jenny Ryan shared CCSA Female Coach of the Year honors. It was the second consecutive year of award for DeWitt and Fjeldheim.

Busy Continental Cup season in Cross-Country Skiing

The FIS Continental Cup series all over the world allow the younger athletes to prepare themselves for the World Cup level. A s a bonus, the Continental Cup winners/leaders are allowed to compete in the World Cup Final.

Hansson and Santus win overall FIS Marathon Cup

Following this final race of ten, the new king and queen of long distance Cross-Country Skiing were crowned with Jenny Hansson (SWE, 600 points) and Fabio Santus (ITA, 417 points) winning the titles.

Maybe we should add a Nordix race to the Michigan Cup circuit...

Santiago Ocariz of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Northern Michigan’s Laura DeWitt were named CCSA Athletes of the year. Their coaches, Wisconsin-Green Bay's Butch Reimer and MNU's Sten Fjeldheim and Jenny Ryan, took home Coaches of the year.
