Caldwell and Potter win Potto Raid

A record 22 skiers showed up for the 6th annual Potto Raid back country ski race today. Potto conditions were superb and waxable skis ruled the day. Cold, fresh snow made the downhills less fearsome, and much faster, with glide aplenty.

The U.S. Ski Team’s Kikkan Randall (Anchorage) skied to an impressive victory Saturday in the free technique sprints for a second career World Cup win, taking over the World Cup sprint lead. It was her third World Cup podium of the season.

NMU finishes third at US Championships
