The season ends for Michigan Cup individual points with the Frosty Freestyle Finale race at 10:30 am at Huron Meadows Metropark in Brighton, MI on Saturday, March 5. If you don't have five races in yet - the max number that can be used for points in the Michigan Cup, this is your chance to move up the individual standings AND add to your team's points before the Michigan Cup Relays on Sunday.
Because this is a make-up race for Boyne Highlands, and Boyne Highlands was designated as a senior-only race on the Michigan Cup calendar, only senior Michigan Cup points will be awarded.
Cost is $20 to cover the timing and awards. Day of race registration only. The race is likely to be individual start and be 10-15k long.
The last trail report (from a classic skier): "South side trails were groomed and track reset for about half the system. Overall, really very good conditions where it was groomed, only a few small icy spots. Mostly granular snow. Universal klister was perfect. Conditions were about a 7 out of 10. Used race skis, no problem. Very pleasant surprise."
