Randall was eighth to remain second in the World Cup overall standings and fifth in distance. Sargent skied to a career best distance finish of 14th.

The secdn place finish kept Randall in the World Cup sprint lead and moved her into second in the overall standings. Andy Newell finished fifth behind men's winner Emil Joensson of Sweden.

The Wintersonnewende has been modified to two flat laps on a 5-6K loop on the golf course. Race starts at 9:30am as originally scheduled, but there will only be a freestyle division.

USOC honors U.S. Cross Country Ski Team

The U.S. Olympic Committee has honored the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team with its Team of the Month Award for November. The Team made history Nov. 25 in Gaellivare, Sweden with its first ever relay podium, finishing third in the women's 4x5k team event.
