Treacherous corners is how one classic skier described the Holiday Classic course. The previous day's freezing rain left the tracks hard and fast. A light dusting of snow caused waxes to ice as racers stepped out of the tracks to negotiate fast corners.

The Michaywé Board of Directors voted at their special meeting on Tuesday December 22, 2009 to re-open the cross country ski trails as soon as possible. The staff began grooming the ski trails on Wednesday morning.

The first week we were in Davos it was Davos Ski Week. There were supposed to be around 5000 skiers in town just to ski, take lessons and drink coffee at the Coffee Klatsch downtown. It seemed like there were more than 5000.
