LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, START YOUR WAXING: WE HAVE A RACE!

Funny thing about snow: If you pack it frequently, it no longer insulates, letting the ground freeze solid. Adam has done a terrific job of keep the course packed hard: The ground is rock solid.

The cold ground has kept the Frosty race course in great shape. I skied the entire course tonight (Thursday) on my good racing skis.

Will we have to shovel snow on the course in a few places (especially around the start area)? Yes. But we're good to go for Saturday's REI Frosty Freestyle.

Last chance to pre-register for $25:

• Friday night, 6:00-8:00pm, Ann Arbor REI store (you can also pick up your packet!)

Race start times:

• 10:30am - 15K men's start
• 10:34am - 15K women's start
• 10:38am - 5K men and women's start

Waxing:

We'll have a small area setup with wax benches inside the lodge.

Goodies, goodies, goodies:

T-shirts for everyone. If we run out, we'll order more and ship them to you. Plus lots of other stuff in your goodie bag.
