Former Michigan Cup racer and current member of the Bridger Ski Foundation Pro Team Reid Goble has had a great couple weeks. First, he won the Minneapolis SuperTour race. Then he won a gold medal serving as a guide in the Paralympics. Finally, he's been chosen to race in the Men's 10km interval start classic race (3/20) at the FIS World Cup Finals in Lake Placid NY. Way to go Reid!

Yankee Springs Golf Course will have cross country trails this winter. Two trails will be groomed: a longer trail of 2.8 miles and shorter trail 1.8 miles. The Yankee Springs G.C. Restaurant and Bar will be open Fridays and Saturdays for food and drink.
Boyne Valley Lodge in Walloon Lake will host two-day classic and skate technique clinics as well as a three-day clinic that covers both techniques. The clinics will run Tuesday - Thursday, December 28-30, 2010.
