Two and three day technique clinics at Boyne Valley Lodge

Boyne Valley Lodge in Walloon Lake will host two-day classic and skate technique clinics as well as a three-day clinic that covers both techniques. The clinics will run Tuesday - Thursday, December 28-30, 2010.

Skiers get the expertise of three experienced coaches:

• Eli Brown, former Director of Skiing for the University of Utah ski team and currently a member of the NCAA Men's and Women's Skiing Committee.

• Cassidy Edwards, recent graduate and former captain of the Middlebury Ski Team.

• Nick Baic, Head Coach for the USSA Great Lakes District, 2006 Coach of the Year, and member of the Toko Tech Team.

Three different options are offered:

Combined Classic and Freestyle clinic
($150 adults, $135 juniors):
Starts Tuesday, Dec 28 at 9:30am and ends after dinner on Thursday, Dec 30.

Classic-only clinic
($90 for both adults and juniors):
Starts Tuesday, Dec 28 at 9:30am  and ends after lunch on Wednesday, Dec 29.

Freestyle-only clinic
($90 for both adults and juniors):
Starts Wednesday, Dec 29 at 2:30 and ends after dinner on Thursday, Dec 30.

The fee includes training sessions, 1 (for classic/freestyle-only skiers) or 2 (combined skiers) nights lodging, breakfast, lunch and dinner per schedule. Additional nights with breakfast: $30.  Video taping and review as necessary.
