Dunes Golf Club: Actually started skiing yesterday at Bay Meadows with my Evo's and they were great. Had to ski in 6" of snow but my glide was good. Ran into Eli Brown and his fiancée who thanked me for breaking trail. I then took Karen to the Dunes but they only had about 3" of snow and we stuck real bad even though I sprayed the skis with toko yellow high performance wax. Went back out yesterday afternoon to Bay Meadows again and it was still great. Ran into Eli again and he told me coach K rolled Hickory Meadows. Now it brings us to today. Karen and I went to try the Dunes again with our Evo's and it was very good. My ankle bone was hurting from my combo boots so I opted to skate. Skating was good so we snow golfed 18 holes and finished at even par.
MON, NOV 10
Bay Meadows GC: Fresh tracks at bay meadows golf course with sunshine and random snow dumps. Early day is best of course
Dunes Golf Club: 8:00 am ski, nice for about 45 minutes then the sticking started as the temp rose .
About 4 inches of settled snow , with some glide on my Atomic skins , lots of leaves down.
Pretty typical for the first snow.

Dunes Golf Club: And so it begins. Just enough snow on the ground to scrape the barnacles off your old track no wax or hickory trail busters... But do it on the mowed courses. Hopefully this is the new awakening of the season!
