Former Michigan Cup racer and current member of the Bridger Ski Foundation Pro Team Reid Goble has had a great couple weeks. First, he won the Minneapolis SuperTour race. Then he won a gold medal serving as a guide in the Paralympics. Finally, he's been chosen to race in the Men's 10km interval start classic race (3/20) at the FIS World Cup Finals in Lake Placid NY. Way to go Reid!

MSHS Announces High School Nordic Ski Team

Marquette Senior High School will add a self-funded Nordic Ski program beginning with the 2009-2010 winter sports season. The Athletic Department will work closely with the Superiorland Ski Club in overseeing the operations of the high school team.

The U.S. Adaptive Cross Country Team wrapped up a two-week camp on Steamboat Springs' Rabbit Ears Pass last week. According to Head Coach Greg Rawlings, the foundation for the 2010 season has been set.
