The Department of Natural Resources and Environment announced that Muncie Lake Pathway (13 miles southeast of Traverse City) and Cadillac Pathway (5 miles northeast of Cadillac) will be groomed for cross-country skiing thanks to local public support.

Olympic silver medalist Todd Lodwick completed a sweep of the weekend Continental Cup in Steamboat with another convincing win on Sunday. Lodwick will now head for the World Cup in Austria after the pair of tuneups in his hometown.
