It was a Goble kind of day at the Boyne Grinder Freestyle at Boyne Mountain. Sarah Goble simply skied away from the pack, and Reid Goble nipped two competitors at the finish line.

The U.S. Skiers finished seventh on the men’s side and eighth for the women in the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun. Andy Newell and Simi Hamilton skied well, but a dominant Norwegian team blew apart the field.

The first Junior National race is coming up March 9. Unfortunately, snow is sparse. Race organizers have moved snow from other trails to increase coverage on a 3km loop. They have also stockpiling snow from the nearby alpine area.
