Hello friends of TART,
TART is hosting work bees on the Vasa Pathway and the Leelanau Trail this Saturday, October 14, 2006 from 9:00 am – noon.
Volunteers on the Vasa Pathway will be spreading wood chips, trimming trees, and preparing the trail for winter usage. Please bring work gloves, pitch forks, shovels, tree trimming tools (i.e. loppers, bow saws, etc.) and dress appropriately for the weather.
Volunteers on the Leelanau Trail will be trimming trees, cutting back overgrowth and ensuring there are clear vision areas at intersections. Please bring work gloves, tree trimming tools (i.e. loppers, bow saws, etc.) and dress appropriately for the weather.
