The Noquemanon Trail Network has done substantial work on the trail system this summer! At the Forestville Trailhead we have built a 1.25 KM Sprint , a a 1.5 KM Bypass Trail, a .8 KM beginner trail and a 6.5 KM Recreational Trail. We hope to light the sprint loop for the winter.
With all of this new trail development we need LOTS of volunteers to clean and level trails, clear debris for the ski stadium & learning area, and also prep the interior floor of the pole barn for concrete. The first of many fall work parties begins this Saturday & Sunday, September 2nd & 3rd. Meet at the Marquette YMCA parking lot at 8:45am for carpooling to the Forestville Trailhead or meet at 9am at the Trailhead parking area. We caution people to pull into the parking lot as it is quite sandy. We recommend pulling in and parking near the new pole barn, or along the side of the county road.
Bring a tool ( ex: shovels, ax, rakes, wheel barrows, pruners, etc) & A Friend!!
