Tuesday Night Sprints Results for Jan 27

Hickory Hills was the site of the classic XC ski sprints Tuesday night with 24 juniors and 8 adults racing the 3km course. Milan Baic, Williamsburg, was the winner of the adult race in 8:43, with Steve Kuhl, Grawn, second in 9:14, and Bill Brundage, TC, third in 9:45. Chris Scott, West, took first place for the junior boys in 9:20, with a close finish between Morgan Weir, Rapid City, and John Hall, West, in 9:49 and 9:50 respectively. The Coulter twins took the honors again for the junior girls race, Julia in 10:31 and Anna in 10:47, both from Central. The next 2 finishes were close, too, with Laura Meeker, Christian, in third in 11:04, and Natalie Dall'Olmo, West, in fourth in 11:05. Sara Cockrell was the female winner in 12:28.
