XCHQ's Caterina Gulledge Named Scholar Athlete of the Year

Caterina Gulledge was named a 2006 Scholar Athlete of the Year by the Detroit Free Press. A member of the Cross Country Ski Headquarters ski team and daughter of William and Ursulina Gulledge, Caterina managed an incredible 4.22 grade point average at graduation from Roscommon High School.

Caterina's academic achievements include:

• National Merit Letter of Commendation
• Honor Roll
• National Honor Society
• Academic All-Conference
• Student Council Treasurer
• Quiz Bowl Captain

Besides winning the individual 2006 Junior Women's Michigan Cup Championship, Caterina had a number of other notible athlete achievements:

• All-State country skiing and league champion
• Team Most-Valuable-Performer, Cross Country
• All-Conference and Team Captain, Cross Country and Track

Caterina will be heading off to Albion College this fall.
