Just a quick note to encourage all racers in the last two Michigan Cup Classic races to uphold the rules of classic skiing. We have had a pretty clean season so far. Let's keep it that way. We all know that skating is faster, but that is not the point. Designated classic races are to be skied in the classic technique. That means no V1, V2 Alternate, V2, Flying Herringbone or Marathon Skating. Skate turns on corners are allowed, but that is all.
Honor is personal thing and one that everyone must judge for themselves. Thanks in advance to all Michigan Cup skiers for staying within the rules of Classic skiing.
