Forum folks: Thanks for the kind remarks. Having been involved with putting ski races on in the past, one gets a bit gun shy about making sure everything will be perfect for those who choose to come. We (racers) are a tough crowd when it comes to pleasing everybody. 6 inches new last night and more predicted through Sunday should see the course in very good condtion for the Highlander.
Save $10 and register by Saturday for the Sunday event. The early entry not only saves ya bucks, but gives you more time to get ready for start time at 10:00.
For those of you who haven't been here, the Nordic Center is in the new Kinlochen building......neat looking, three story stone building. Race start/finish will be where we started the pre-season race about a mile from the XC Center......parking will be at a premium at the Center, but roadside parking at the start/finish should be no problem if you arrive early.
Awards location and time will depend on the number of racers. We'll announce that at the start line.
One more thing......Congrats to the White Pine and Vasa folks for a job well done........Great efforts to make it the best it could be..........Cheers........Roger
