Jan 13 Timber Ridge Classic Sprints Results

The first classic Tuesday Night XC Ski Sprints were held at Timber Ridge, with 38 skiers participating in the 4 km race. Steve Kuhl, Grawn, edged out Milan Baic, Williamsburg, by four seconds for first place, 11:24 to 11:28, for the adult men winners. John Hall, Traverse City, took first for junior boys in 12:50, with Morgan Weir, Rapid City, in second place in 13:36. Cassidy Edwards, Glen Arbor, just back from competing at Senior Nationals in Maine, took first for junior girls in 13:00, overall fourth place, with Julia Coulter, Traverse City, second in 13:26. Jessi Schwab, Williamsburg, lead the adult women's race in 15:02, with Sara Cockrell, Grawn, in second in 17:02.
