Classic tracks set for Black Mountain Nordic Classic

The 8th annual Black Mountain Nordic Classic is set for this Saturday March 3rd. The trails were blessed with 3" of heavy snow this weekend and head groomer Jim Meyer was finally able to set some nice classic tracks. We are projected to get a little snow each day with possibly 6" on Wed and additional snow on race day.

We are expecting to have the full 31 km loop groomed wide with nice tracks on race day. In addition to the 31 km classic race, there is also a 10 km freestyle event and the annual Marv Mendyk/John Hardin memorial 10 km tour. More information and race forms are available at www.thunderbaytrails.org.
