Eli Brown 2nd in SISU Fest 42k Marathon

Traverse City’s own Eli Brown was less than a minute behind nationally renowned and former Birkie Champion Matt Liebsch, winner of the 2012 SISU 42k Marathon. What makes Brown’s second place finish even more impressive is that Liebsch was the runner-up in the U.S. Cross Country Championships behind Tad Elliott (a member of the U.S. Ski team) by only three seconds only a few weeks earlier in Rumford, Maine.
