Classic and skate clinics near Kalkaska

Christine Junker and Bob Eifler will offer a pair of cross country ski clinics; classic style on 19 December and skating on 26 December.  Both sessions will be 2pm to 6pm Sunday afternoon, at their home track “Deerfield”:  a 1 mile foot-packed course on rolling terrain with one short steep slope, located a few miles Northwest of Kalkaska.

Anticipated agenda will be:

1. A brief get-to-know-you introduction
2. Lee Borowski’s “Simple Secrets” video with discussion and drills
3. On-snow drills, practice, feedback and freeskiiing
4. Tummy-warming munchies
5. Hands-on waxing and structuring

Please take Valley Rd North from M31. 
At 2 miles you will see a Rapid Township sign. Take a left-North @ Titus. 
Follow the blacktop curve to the right at the top of the hill-Brockmeier. 
Drive on the dirt road 1 mile, and take a left at the “T” on Hill road. 
We are the 3rd house on the left – with a looooong driveway.

This clinic is a go … “snow or no” – i.e. bring dryland poles and running shoes if needed. We also have a couple terrific bounding courses.
