Drew Goldsack from the Canadian National Team and Holly Brooks from Alaska Pacific University took easy victories in both the classic and freestyle sprints events at the Yellowstone Ski Festival.
The races had been postponed from Wednesday to Thanksgiving because the temperature was too cold for athletes to start competition on Wednesday, and many people en route to the event were delayed or stuck in the snow covered tundra.
APU did exceptional well in the sprints, taking 11 of the 20 top five positions across the two back-to-back events.
