Kris Freeman 2nd in today's 10k Freestyle

Kris Freeman placed second in today's 10K Freestyle cross country ski race in Muonio, Finland. Sergey Shiriaev from Russia was first, 7.2 seconds ahead of Freeman. Says the USST, "Thinking he had finished third, Freeman was pleasantly surprised when the official results showed a number two next to his name, just one tenth behind Russia Sergey Shiriaev. Shiriaev crossed the line in 22:37.80 with Freeman on his tails finishing the race in 22:45.10."
Freeman crushed the competition yesterday, winning the 10K classic.
Says Freeman, "Good race today. Skiing is fantastic. Don't want to leave. First for Muonio."
