Buying Guide: Jenex Rollerskis

Choosing a rollerski seemed not too difficult a task when it came to comparing the offerings of Pursuit and Pro-Ski in the previous two Roller Ski Buying Guides. But add Jenex to the mix and the choice becomes almost bewildering. Nineteen classic models, four combi and six skate models make up the Jenex line. Unfortunately, the Jenex web site is very confusing, with information about models strewn across several different area of the site, and details about a particular model often incomplete. Trying to compare two roller skis frequently becomes an exercise in frustration.

In fact, it was so confusing, I had to ask Jenex's Len Johnson to help me tame the chaos. He graciously helped provide the missing details for this Roller Ski Guide, and even added his own stability, ride comfort, and speed reducer efficiency ratings for each rollerski. Thanks Len!

Some of the pictures might be out of date in terms of color, but they do show the basic format of the ski. Jenex rollerskis can be bought directly from the Jenex web site or check prices at web sites like the Cross Country Ski Shop for better deals.
