NMU hats to support team

I hope you al enjoyed your summer and that you have hat some time to stay in shape.

The NMU ski team athletes are all back and the team is in full training mode. Back this year (red shirt last year) is Captain Martin Banerud (2X NCAA All American). Martin has his work cut out for him this season because after some training sessions we both agree that this will be one of the strongest NMU men’s ski team we have ever had. The guys are looking very good along with co-captain Kevin Cutts and some returning skiers who have trained very good over the summer they are a force to be reckoned  with. I have been very impressed with all the practices thus far, this should be a very fun season.

The women’s team is looking equally as strong. Returning captains Christina Turman and Ingrid Fjeldheim will be leading a very strong group of young women this year and as the men’s team they came back to campus much stronger than last season.

These kids are great to deal with, they are great students and great sportsmen and women, I know they will do their best at all that they do.

I am proud to be their coach and I enjoy watching these young adults grow up and I know you would be proud of them as well.

So, here is your chance to help them out:

The new 2011 NMU ski team hat will soon be delivered. This is one of our many team fund raisers for the season, as you know budgets everywhere are just a little tight.

Here is your chance to purchase a NMU ski team hat and at the same time help in our fundraising efforts, thanks.

I need you to send me the mailing address that you would like your hat or hats sent to and I will have them sent out as soon as they are delivered, should be in late October.

The cost is $30.00 per hat, 3 or 4  hats the price drops to $27.00 per hat, 5 or more the price drops to $25.00 per hat.

The hats are made out of a lighter lycra knit material with a inner thin lining around the base of the hat, suitable for both training and racing.

If you want to purchase a hat or hats let me know. All proceeds will be used to help with travel and racing supplies during the season.
