The weather forecast for this weekend is perfect with light snow Tuesday and Wednesday, clearing skies on Thursday and a Saturday race day high temperature of 29 degrees F. I skied the Cote Dame Marie course yesterday - the trails are in excellent shape and not at all soft. Butch will be making the final finishing touches throughout this week in order to have the course in perfect shape for the weekend.
One of the new things we are trying this year is the addition of a Citizen Race Division. The intent is to provide a venue for someone new to racing to transition into the sport without having to compete head to head with the best. We also have added a free Kid’s Race for 7:00 PM Friday at the Cross Country Ski Shop lighted trails. Free rental skis are available for the Kid’s Race.
If you plan to stay in the Grayling area, take advantage of the 15% racers discount at the Grayling Ramada Inn.
