Southeast Michigan:
Snow will spread north into Southeast Michigan today and continue through tonight. Total accumulations by Wednesday will range from 4-9" with the lowest values across northern portions of the Saginaw Valley. Winds will increase overnight into Wednesday with gusts to 30 mph causing blowing and drifting of snow.
Southwest Michigan:
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect through mid day Wednesday south of US-10. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the same time period along and north of US-10. A developing snow storm will produce 3 to 6 inches of snow in the advisory area and 5 to 10 inches in the warning area through mid day Wednesday. The heaviest snow will fall this afternoon and evening. Winds will increase Tonight and cause blowing and drifting snow. Near blizzard conditions will be possible along the lake shore late tonight into Wednesday.
