Marquette in Nov. Bike magazine

Marquette Michigan is featured in national Bike magazine for the month of November. The two page spread features the Noquemanon Trail Network hard at work shaping the South Trails maze into four clearly marked loops.

Within the article Bike magazine highlights the accessibility of the single track trails as well as local restaurants hotels and coffee shops. One great aspect mentioned is the close proximity of the trails to the community as well as the different levels of terrain.

Lyle Vanderschaaf, Noquemanon Trail Network Board President comments “Sometimes we need to be reminded how lucky we are to have such great trails literally right out our back door and the fact that it requires a commitment to build and maintain something this special.”

In 2005 the trails were rated in Bike magazine as one of the top 10 places to Live and Ride. Last spring Bike magazine featured the trails as 3rd in the Best Hometown Trails category.
