Central Cross Country Ski Association (CXC) is pleased to announce Vertical Limit as the title sponsor for the CXC Elite Team. The Vertical Limit sponsorship will be seen this year with logos on CXC Team apparel and by providing many items from their fine line of outdoor technical and leisure wear. The CXC Elite Team will now be known as “CXC Team Vertical Limit”.
From the beginning, Vertical Limit was designed with the adventurer in mind and aspires to appeal to cross country skiers and all demanding outdoorsmen. An Idaho Company, located amidst world-renowned peaks and streams, offers a true four season line, appealing to a wide-range of outdoor enthusiasts including cross country skiers, runners, hikers, alpine skiers and snowboarders.
“CXC is excited about this new sponsorship and welcomes Vertical Limit on board. It’s very important for us to sign such an agreement in the Olympic year so all athletes on the Team can be confident in their support in order to focus 100% on preparation and training.” comments Yuriy Gusev, CXC Executive and Athletic Director.
“We are also pleased to have all major sponsors from last year coming back such as Lake Express, Becker Law Office, The American Birkebeiner, Tidd Tech and Salomon.”
The CXC Elite Team was developed and implemented in May 2006 to support a select group of talented athletes with aspirations of excellence and high performance. The CXC Elite Team’s goal is to provide coaching, training and modest financial support for athletes that possess the skill, drive and dedication to pursue the goal of representing the US in upcoming World Cup, World Championship and Olympic competitions. A simultaneous goal is to develop athletes that are ambassadors spreading awareness, knowledge and enthusiasm while promoting healthy lifestyles and increasing cross country ski participation.
“Vertical Limit is so please to partner with CXC, an organization that is clearly innovative, motivated and visionary in the education and promotion of cross country skiing and outdoor and fitness enthusiasm. At Vertical Limit, we truly share this same philosophy and are honored to present the newly named CXC Team Vertical Limit…a partnership, we anticipate, will perpetuate the great sport of cross country skiing.” – Randy Robison, President Vertical Limit
