
HOUGHTON, Mich. - Michigan Tech junior Jenna Klein was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American third team by the College Sports Information Directors of America. The Ely, Minn., native competed in her third straight NCAA Skiing Championships this past season and carries a 4.0 cumulative grade point average in exercise science.
The junior was the team’s top finisher in the freestyle race at the NCAAs, and was an All-Central Region performer for the second straight season.
She accompanies Veronique Archambault-Leger of New Hampshire as the only skiers on the team.
The ESPN the Magazine Academic All-American College Division At-Large teams consist of all non-Division I student athletes in the sports of bowling, crew, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, men’s volleyball, water polo and wrestling.
