2009 US NATIONAL COACHES EDUCATION CONFERENCE

Join the U.S. Ski Team at the biennial Coaches Education Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  This three-day event, from September 25-27, is for all cross country ski coaches and athletes looking to improve their knowledge of the sport.  The 11 presentations will address a myriad of development topics that are guaranteed to improve one's strength as a coach or an athlete.  From training and physiology presentations by Sweden's renowned cross country physiologist Hans Christer Holmberg, to waxing and ski testing topics addressed by U.S. Ski Team serviceman and Minneapolis local Randy Gibbs, an educational and entertaining experience is staring you down.  Space is limited to 100 participants.  Contact Matt Whitcomb to reserve your spot at [email protected].

BIRKIE MASTERS CAMP AT TELEMARK RESORT UPDATE

Garrott Kuzzy, U.S. Ski Team and CXC Elite Team member will join coaching staff at the camp alone with Kelly Chadouin, CXC Elite Team member, who will lead woman's group at the camp.

JUNIOR TECHNIQUE CAMP AT TELEMARK RESORT

Open 4-day high school camp and open 2-day middle school camp is set for August 3-6 along with coaches education sessions. RUN FOR SNOW - AUGUST 16, 2009 - ELVER PARK, MADISON

5.5K Walk/Nordic Walk and 5.5K, 9K, 15.5K Trail Run - This inaugural year of Run for Snow will raise funds to adopt Matt Liebsch, CXC Elite Team member, 2009 U.S. Natonal Championships Bronze medalist and winner of the 2009 American Birkebeiner 52K Skate race.
