Bring Children to Snow program starts

CXC Youth Program is supporting new FIS SnowKidz campaign "Bring Children to Snow". 

Similar to the book "Last Child in the Woods" written by Richard Louv, the snow sport community is experiencing "Last Child in the Snow". Kids are spending less time outdoors and enjoying activities in the snow.

For the future of our children, sport and industry CXC Youth Program is developing a "Winter Activity Log" and award program that awards kids for getting outside and playing in the snow be it, skiing, sledding, skating, etc.  Logs will be available for 2009/2010 winter.
